Who do you want to be… on Page 3?

Just stumbled across this poet; Sabrina Mahfouz with her poem explaining why we should end Page 3.

Great performer, and a fabulous poet; if you feel it’s a worthy cause, sign the petition below. It will be sent to Domninic Mohan, editor of The Sun newspaper in London…  who knows what we can achieve! xx

Valentine’s Day: One Billion Rising

For all those that didn’t hear… One Billion Rising was THE event to attend this valentine’s day.

Reacting  to the emerging news-stories across the globe – that of gang-rape in India and Ohio, USA – One Billion Rising has decided that this is year that we say NO to female discrimination!

Instead of ignoring the situation, or feeling helpless about what it is we could personally do, this organisation made 14th February 2013 a day to remember with their motto; STRIKE, DANCE, RISE…

Events were set up across the globe, in an attempt to connect us as a nation and relish in the power of dance.

Thank you One Billion Rising! For doing something unique and extraordinary, and reminding us that the small things encourage the bigger things to change.

“We are the result of what we have thought. The mind is everything. What we think, we become”

– Buddha
